No. Restoring connectivity gives users access to current content on the platform, but local files must be downloaded again. They are not automatically synchronised or covered by local change tracking. The central database is maintained by the supplier.

Access is through a modern web browser, with no onboard software installation required. The platform supports Windows, macOS, Linux, iOS and Android. The specification states that devices per vessel are unlimited; this should not be interpreted as confirmation of unlimited user accounts.

Yes. Shore access requires a separate licence. Licences tailored to shore personnel provide fleet management and oversight of platform usage. Administrators can assign user permissions through role-based access control (RBAC).

Agentic search and Expert Mode support document analysis, identification of relevant requirements and exploration of regulatory relationships. AI can filter requirements by vessel type when prompted. The described offering does not include a separate automated vessel-specific compliance module.

Port regulations are not preloaded in the standard static database. They can be searched, retrieved and analysed online using the platform’s AI and agentic search tools.

A dedicated internal audit reporting module is not available within the regulatory database scope described here. The supplier indicates that this could be developed on request. Users can search for regulatory articles, codes and references needed during audits and inspections.

AI functionality uses a credit-based model. Credit allocation, usage terms and additional usage costs need to be specified in the quotation. Access to the publication database does not mean unlimited AI usage.

Under the supplied terms, access can be enabled within a few days of signing the agreement, with no additional fee for standard setup and implementation. Onboarding includes account creation and configuration, usage monitoring setup and introducing users to the platform.

The described onboarding includes one live online training session per user. The target technical support response time is one business day during standard business hours. Email requests can be submitted at any time; this does not mean round-the-clock staffing.
